Volunteer Registration

Crew Guide:  We need over 150 Crew Guides, if you are unsure where to serve – this is the place!  Crew Guides are the most important role at Summer BLOCK Party – they lead small groups of 4 – 6 elementary age kids from station to station each night of SBP.  Crew Guides love kids and love the Lord.  They’re not in charge of preparing or teaching activities; they just get to be there and help kids enjoy SBP as they shepherd the members of their SBP Crew.  There is little preparation involved.  Preschool Crew Guides will work with preschool age children (3-5 years) and Elementary Crew Guides will work with kids in Kindergarten through 5th grade.                  

                                                           
Station Volunteer – A Youth Volunteer:  Rising 7th through 12th graders are youth volunteers who will serve in various areas on our SBP journey.  Kids, please register under this job title and you will be contacted regarding your final crew assignment before we begin.

Station Volunteer – Registration:  Registration volunteers will serve as friendly hosts/hostesses of our SBP.  Duties will include greeting children and parents upon arrival, check-in pre-registered preschool or elementary age kids, sign up new kids, as well as assist with dismissal.                      

Station Volunteer – Imagination Station & Missions: Volunteers will assist with fun science experiments that relate to our Bible story and Bible Point each evening.  In addition, you will help kids to share God’s love through mission-focused activities

                                                                                      
Station Volunteer – Games:  Volunteers will lead games for elementary or preschool children that emphasize the Bible story or point each night.                 

Station Volunteer – Facilities, Security & Medical: These folks will help keep us safe and organized with respect to facility setup and tear down, tidiness, safety, dismissal procedures and medical.                                                                               

Station Volunteer – Nursery:  Nursery volunteers will take care of other SBP volunteers’ infants and toddlers who are too young to attend.                                                                                                                 

Station Volunteer – Unassigned: Please select this only if you are working in an area that is not defined above.  Such areas may include:  set design, audio/visual, sound, preschool, etc.
